The “Arnoldo Mondadori” Donation exhibits works by Federico Zandomeneghi and Armando Spadini, who were the leading painters of the 19th and 20th centuries.
The “Ugo Sissa” Mesopotamian Collection is one of the rare collections in Italy. There are about 250 artifacts related to the ancient civilizations developed between the Tigris and Euphrates. The Gonzagan Section collects the weights and measures in bronze which were used in the ancient state of Gonzaga, and also dies, punches, medals and coins of Mantua and its surrounding area.
The Egyptian Collection, collected by a Mantuan Giuseppe Acerbi, includes sculptures in marble, bronze and wood, as well as many objects related to the rituals of funerals and worship of the gods.
